Shaun Berardi - Technical Chiropractic Assistant

Hello! My name is Shaun and I am the Technical Chiropractic Assistant here at Peninsula Chiropractic! I was born, raised, and have called Welland home my entire life. After finishing high school, I went on to complete my Physical Education (Hons.) degree at Brock University. During my final year, I obtained my Personal Training Certificate and became a Personal Trainer at our local YMCA. My passion has always been on health, and taking part in that journey with others!

Throughout my childhood I had seen a chiropractor, as my father saw the importance in a chiropractic adjustment. I was young, but I always understood that there was a level of importance in chiropractic care, just not to the degree I understand it today. As a child, I only saw chiropractic care as a means of staying flexible in your spine to prevent injury. While this is part of the story, it is definitely not the whole story. After my first visit to a Gonstead Chiropractor, I felt the difference! I understand now that chiropractic care is a lot more than simply manipulating your spine left and right. The Gonstead method is an amazing technique that allows for a very specific adjustment to help correct a subluxation(a misalignment in a joint causing nerve interference). Your nervous system controls everything; from your heart, to your lungs, to healing from a cut. As the subluxation is corrected, that amazing healing power in your nervous system can then fully express itself. This helps the regeneration/healing process and prevents degeneration and disease from developing as your body works out of its compensations. A big part of my role here at Peninsula Chiropractic is to help you achieve structural correction by providing corrective exercises and best next steps!

We believe that everyone deserves to live their best life possible, and our goal is to help you achieve just that! Whether this be through a specific adjustment, education on beneficial daily habits, or through corrective exercises… Our focus is on you!
