Thanks for your understanding!

Dear valued patient,

It is a privilege to care for you and one I value very much so I want to inform you that I will be away from the clinic from Wednesday 22nd January to the 5th of February – last appointments will be on the 21st - Tuesday morning. During my reports every week I share that the most important thing in life is relationship so I want to be open and authentic.

As many of you know, my Dad has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiform (brain cancer) that carries with it an average life expectancy of roughly a year and has been fighting strong now for almost 4 – a testament to Above-Down-Inside-Out living! This has allowed for my family and I several visits over those years, something we are so thankful for!

Unfortunately though, he has taken a sharp downward turn and his time of transition from this life as we know it here to the next is drawing rapidly close and I am returning to be with him in these last days. I know that his faith in God’s faithfulness will carry him on into eternity, though this side of heaven it will be the last time we get to connect.

While stepping away from caring for you is not ideal for your progress and very difficult for me, I’m so thankful that Dr. Eric Park will be here to continue providing you the care that you need while I’m away! I’m also committed to working with you to coordinate any appointments that you don’t make in this time either before (this Monday and Tuesday) and/or after my time away.

For those inclined to pray, pray for Dr. Eric Park, Katie Boyd and our newest team member Ayse Ilhan as that continue to provide the highest quality care. That Dad holds on at least until I return and that Sarah, Malachi, Zephaniah and our 2 week old Torah are well sustained during this time that I am absent.

Thank you so much for your understanding and may God bless you to be a blessing!

Dr. Thomas Egan
